We interrupt this blog...

...to let you know the blogger is down for the count with a spring cold.

The Nagle5 have even had to cancel Game Night for the first time since its inception.

So, while I'm dosing myself with hot tea laced with honey, why don't you go smile at Generations Gone By's post about just what it feels like the day AFTER you got very enthusiastic about Wii Fit. I'm thinking twice about jumping on this bandwagon...I don't know if I'm as brave as she is.

Also, would you please go give my bloggy friend, Melissa, some bloggy support? She just posted her progress pictures and she's doing amazingly well. If you don't know Melissa yet, she's committed to exercise 365 days (beginning January 1, 2009) and she hasn't missed a day yet, despite moving, interviewing for jobs, and being a SAHM to a toddler. How cool is that? If I've done my math correctly, since January 1 she's lost 15 pounds and 53 inches! Go look at her pictures here. You'll be proud of her, too. (Notice, especially, how much happier she gets as she progresses through her challenge...the first picture compared to the most recent picture tells the entire story.)

Finally, if you have a few minutes, I think you'll totally love SewDucky's series on Figure Analysis. Even if you don't sew clothes for yourself (or others), this is a really great way to think about your clothes...what suits you and what doesn't...all based on your body structure and type. (It is much better than the stupid are you an apple or are you a pear, I promise.) She has seven different parts and I was stunned to see that there was a reason I gravitated to the styles I do and why clothes I love on other people can look horrible on me. Seriously, she even has one on necklines...what type of neckline suits what type of body (shoulder size, long/short neck)...I found out why I always gravitate towards scoop necks: I have broad shoulders and a short neck. (Seriously, if my neck were to be as long as it is supposed to be, I would be 6' tall!)

So, go have fun...I'll be back as soon as I can.

Ah-choo!

Glad you are feeling better. So am I. Now I am going to get back to exercising with my Wii, just in moderation this time. :)

oh I went over to Melissa´s a bit ago. I will have to go check on her again. I too have lost 15 lbs since Jan. I am getting close to that 20 lb mark. I still want to lose another 15-20lbs. and I didn´t even think I was that over weight. crazy! well, I don´t want to stop now.
Hope you get all the way better.
My head is throbbing and i am not sure how I will make it through tomorrow. :) God is good and He always sees me through.
have a good rest!

I enjoy Melissa's blog. She's working her behind off....no pun intended, lol!

I sure hope you feel better soon. It is no fun to be sick, that's for sure! Just relax as much as you can and get better, my friend!

Thank you for your support again Erin, and to all of you that stopped by to say hi! :) Sorry it took me so long to respond to everyone's comments. Logan has had me running crazy and on top of him (silly boy) we are preparing for my SIL's graduation (we have lots of family arriving starting today!). Should be pretty busy this next week.

Glad to hear you are starting to feel more like yourself Erin! ((hugs))
