So, how do you like it?

When I email you back in response to your comments? Since I'm trying to stay off the computer for x-number of hours each day, I thought I'd try receiving your comments via email, so that I don't miss any of them. Doing this also gives me the ability to send you an email response to your comments if you linked an email address to your Google ID (or if I know for sure who you are and I have your email address already). For me, I like the feeling of knowing someone actually read my comment and I wanted you all to have that feeling whenever you leave a comment.

So, do you like receiving an email response? Or would you prefer me to post responses in the comments section of the blog post? It is really up to you, so weigh in on this one for me.

You do whatever works best for you and saves you the most time!

I have thought about doing that, but I moderate my comments so don't know how that would work. Have to check it out.

Three years is not such a long time, really. During the early years we managed to rack up quite a bit due to car problems and stuff.

We just have some repairs coming up and i'd rather save for them than go into debt, so I'm trying to read the book for motivation, lol!

This is what I do on Loveaphid + 365. I think it works, because I never miss a comment. But I guess it is silly for me to even answer since I connect with you anyway I can. So whatever works for you.

Since I don't have a blog and am not savvy in bloggy matters, I have what might be a silly question: Does e-mailing comments mean that we won't see any comments posted on your blog? Because I, for one, enjoy reading all the comments that your bloggy friends post in response to your blog.

If you email the response, the person knows you responded. If you you post on the blog, they won't know unless they come back right?

email respond, I agree with generationsgoneby. you know I do come back but I don´t go back to the comments I just read the post.

I did the same thing, I like it much more because I get all of them. there were times that people would comment in old post and I wouldn´t know because I wouldn´t go bacn that far. Doing comment approval to me is the best way to read every single comment, no matter how old the post is.

Okie, dokie...Gens and Pilar, you're right and that was my thinking when I decided to do it...I felt like I might have missed some comments and didn't want people to feel ignored. Pilar, I don't need to do comment approval to get the emails. Until I have to, I'm not turning that on.

Tricia, well, yes, but no. I am aware that lots of people read blogs and don't comment and that people also don't have Google IDs, so I'll try to answer any questions in the comments, too. (I just might not be as fast with them...)

I just email back anymore cuz I figured out that very few people back to read the comments once they have commented.
