Well, it is that time again (already)...time for us to pull out our pre-digital era photos and share them with the world in Alicia's Friday Photo Flashback. Why are we doing this again? Oh, yeah, to put a smile on our faces and yours as we look back to way back when.
Since everyone has been posting pictures of their recent graduations, talking about their kids graduating, and generally in a graduation frame of mind, I dug out a picture of me taken at my high school graduation. As you can see, I was "heartbroken" and generally "understated" following the ceremony. I do remember that my graduating class had 1000 kids in it and that I had no idea what I was going to do next...my family split up soon after that, but for that moment in time, I was pretty darned happy. I still love that our cap and gown were silver...way better than black! See the little kid in front of me? That is my brother...yep, the same one you saw on the Skype picture! A lot of years ago...
Oh, yeah, what was the year?

Great picture!!!
Had to stop by and say I loved your comment on "Five Moms and a Blog". I'm the Monday Mom over there, but your comment to MiMi was too funny! I have 'Mom Brain' too!

That is one of my favorite photos of you. It shows so much of your happy and joyful side.
My graduating class was the largest at the time, we had 130 kids!! I can't imagine 1000. I graduated in 1985!
Love the picture!
I love looking at old pictures. Very cute one of you!
Thanks for stopping by for my Mom brain post. I am always telling the kids to comb their teeth and brush their hair. I have totally called an object something other than what it was. I am so glad I am not the only one.

Anyhoo...you look so carefree and pretty...gosh...you still look pretty much the same.
Blessings.
I graduated in 1988. Can you imagine spending the 80's in High School! Any way the Silver Cap and gown is super cool. You by the way look the same, 3 kids and a husband later. Oh and thanks a lot for posting the picture of me on 365.
