More snow means more shoveling...

Well, I'm sure you've heard that Eastern Washington has experienced record breaking snowfall in the last month. What you might not know is that it isn't expected to stop any time soon. Yesterday dawned bright and crisp and the Nagles headed out to run errands while the road were clear. As we pulled into our driveway, we could see that Mr. R had been hard at work clearing his roof. What we didn't know yet was that he'd spent the previous day clearing the roof for someone whose rafters had snapped! Yep, we've finally reached the point where the load is too much for our homes.

That was all Superman needed to hear. He headed to our roof to start shoveling as well. What none of you know is that I am deathly afraid of having Superman on the roof. It might be irrational, but I was terrified. The only way I could cope was to be outside snapping pictures of these guys so I couldn't hear them over my head! (Okay, seeing the shovel come flying off the roof right after he'd begun didn't help my sanity either.) So, what is the big deal, you ask? Well, look...

...in some places, our roof is three stories from the ground and Superman hasn't been flying too well these days! I spent the day getting a lot of grief from Mr. R for being a scaredy-cat, but I guess Superman doesn't have to hear that his "wife" won't "let" him get on the roof anymore.

Ugh I would have to be somewhere else, I can't deal with Fig on the roof either, you should have seen me when he and his buddy took down the tree in the back yard. I don't love hieghts and I don't love watching loved ones climbing up on things either.
