Grace in Small Things #2

1. Rain

2. My room because it is beautiful.

3. Being alive and my family.

4. Barn Doors on the Suburban vs. a traditional tailgate.

5. Little things (and people) that remind me of how blessed I am to have so many things worthy of stressing over.

(Remember, each one of these is from a different Nagle5 member...do you think you know what we chose?)

Okay,
thought I'd try your day of grace on my very negative family last night.

Here's the answers:

I am so glad Mrs C. is going on the band trip...because then she won't give homework.

I am so glad I had ibuprofen in my purse...so I wouldn't have to kill myself.

I am thankful my boss was off today, because I didn't feel a need to kill him...

I am so thankful that I got the kitchen mopped.

I am thankful for chicken strips...

Okay, so #3 started us out with the chicken strips, and I tried to end on an up note with the mopping, but the other three just weren't on the band wagon. I'm not sure God wants us to be thankful we didn't break one or more of his commandments that day...

Maybe they will be more receptive tonight.

LOL! Yeah, I've been worried about responses like that...so far, I haven't gotten them...Valiant totally agrees with #3 and her opinion of chicken strips and I am happy you actually got your floor mopped. The fact that no one killed anyone is a positive, right?

Yup. That is how I am looking at it. My girls could eat nothing but chicken strips for the rest of their days. I have to limit them, but they are good with salad and an easy meal, so I give in. Figure if that's our junk food we are in good shape. :)
