I Wish Our Wedding Had Been This Much Fun!

You know, as I look back on our wedding day, it was fraught with stress from many sources. As I think of how I will advise my children, I want them to have fun with getting married. The wedding is just one day and the marriage is the important part. To that end, I think I'll make them each watch this video.

I can tell you without a doubt Jill and Kevin had more fun than we did. (Superman agrees with me!) So, what about you? Was your wedding this much fun?

this video is so good isn't it? Our wedding was great fun! Not quite as zany as this one but we had a small affair with all our friends and family. We had glorious sunshine and a lovely day.

Heck Yeah My wedding was a hoot. I can't see this video, but I can tell you that Fig and I had fun at our wedding and they say that usually the Bride and groom don't get to enjoy anything because they are too busy making the rounds. But since we had a buffet style wedding with no assigned seating we were free to mingle in a much more fluid manner. It was fantastic. The worst part of my wedding was the heat. It was at least100 degrees that day and our building did not have air conditioning.
Sigh

We did have fun. Can't believe it's been 24 years, but we did enjoy ourselves, but I don't know, somehow I think the service should also have some reverence to it as well. Maybe that's just me showing my age.

Wow! Don't you wish you could do it all over again:0)? I'm glad the stress of it all isn't ours anymore! ....and we lived happily ever after!
Smiles :0)!

There was a lost of stress there that just shouldn't have been. We should not have had to worry about family dynamics and the lot. It should have just been our day to enjoy and remember.

Ours really was nothing but stress with all kinds of ex-this and step-that to be figured in. I wish I had known to just ignore it all and have fun. Lilsista, happily ever after is definitely the best part, isn't it?

I think that you and Superman should consider renewing your vows, so that you can have a fun bash of a wedding. I finally got to see the video, these people looked so genuinely happy and excited to be getting married, and their wedding party were terrific sports to play along with them. Super fun.
